Does my loved one have to be in treatment for us to start this program?
No. Families work with me at all stages — whether you’re just recognizing there may be a problem, preparing for intervention, navigating active treatment, or stabilizing things after discharge.

How long does the program last?
Most families work with me for a minimum of 3 months. That’s typically the time needed to build a strong foundation, set effective boundaries, support treatment progress, and prepare for long-term recovery. Your plan is always tailored to your family’s needs and can continue beyond that if needed.

What exactly does the program include?
The RehabWorks Family Intervention Model provides a comprehensive framework that adapts to your situation. Depending on your needs, it may include:

  • Pre-intervention education & coaching to prepare your family

  • Motivational intervention sessions with your loved one

  • Treatment liaison & progress monitoring

  • Structured family recovery coaching & relapse planning

  • Access to the RehabWorks Family Education Course & resources

  • Ongoing support to navigate the challenges of treatment and early recovery

Is this just for parents?
No. While many families I work with are parents of teens or young adults, this program is also for spouses, adult children, siblings, or any family members concerned about a loved one’s substance use.
